A nomadic family's ger on open ground in western Mongolia

Meet your local partners

A local family, connecting you to the real Mongolia.

Hello, my name is Anji. I am the eldest daughter of the family behind Mongolia Adventure Club.

I am a science lover who has lived an international life in Taiwan, France, and Spain, but my true passion is connecting global travellers with the raw, authentic spirit of my home. My goal is to help those who are unsure how to navigate Mongolia by offering clear quotes, tailored plans, and memories that last a lifetime.

Our Expert Team

We are a local family from Khovd in Western Mongolia. My father, Nima, has been driving across Mongolia's most challenging terrains for his entire life. What he enjoys most is the journey itself, navigating the unpaved tracks, mountain passes, and river crossings that require a master's touch.

While my father handles the rugged roads in our reliable 4x4 vehicles, I manage the bookings for ger hotels and food on-site, providing cultural explanations and a bridge to real Mongolian life.

My father drives every trip. And if you'd rather travel to your own plan, you can also book driver-only — just Nima and the truck — and I'll help you shape the route by email before you go.

Our Local Roots

We invite you to experience the hospitality of our own ger camp in Khovd, situated in nature along the beautiful Buyant River. This is a perfect place to begin or end your journey, offering a peaceful alternative to the busy capital.

If that sounds like your kind of trip, come. Pick a direction and tell me your dates. I'll write back myself.

How we work

A traveller-first way of doing it.

No upfront deposit

No upfront deposit needed. Explore the routes, choose your direction, and book your dates without financial pressure.

We won't oversell it

Mongolia is hard, beautiful, and sometimes uncomfortable. We'd rather you arrive knowing that than feel misled on day three.

We won't put on a show

The families we visit are not performers. We bring supplies and respect, and we visit when it suits them, not on a schedule.

Come and see for yourself.
